How to create drop menu for a directory

I'm trying to create a drop down menu listing business categories for a business directory. I would like it to be like the built-in "Meeting Minutes" and select the "category" and have business website links, contact info, etc. show up. I don't see anything in the manuals or the forum. Thanks!
