Database Excel sheet import problem.

I am trying to import a Excel sheet o a database but it gives the error of wrong file type or not the supported formats. I've exported the document to a supported document and still nothing. Anyone else had an issue with this?

Al, we need to make the import function more user-friendly, specifically identifying why an error may occur. I have added this on the to-do list.
